Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) legislator from Siddipet in Medak district, T. Harish Rao, has been emerging as the star campaigner for the party in the region. Even the party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao is banking on the oratory and managerial skills of the senior TRS MLA.

This was evident the other day when the party president deputed Mr. Harish Rao to address election campaign meeting held at Huzoornagar in Nalgonda district where Ms. Shankaramma, mother of ‘martyr’ Srikanta Chary is contesting. Though Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao was scheduled to attend the meeting, he dropped in the last minute due to health reasons.

Recently, Mr. Harish Rao held a meeting with his supporters at Siddipet and sought their opinion on campaigning in other constituencies to improve the winning chances of party candidates. “Just go ahead with your campaign we will take care of electioneering in Siddipet,” was the assurance given by his team. Mr. Harish Rao has been taking up campaign in all the segments of Medak Lok Sabha constituency from where Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao is contesting in addition to Gajwel Assembly seat. Recently on a single day, Mr. Harish Rao attended a series of campaign meetings at Toopran, Gajwel, Narsapur, Sangareddy and Sadashivapet from morning to late in the evening travelling more than 200 kilometres.
