Gold-plated main entrance of Annavaram temple inaugurated

Gold-plating has been done to the main entrance of the famous shrine of Sri Veera Venkata Satyanayana Swamy atop Ratnagiri hillock in East Godavari district. Management of Peddapuram-based Sri Lalita Enterprises , has borne expenses of the gold plating works.

Home Minister N. Chinarajappa formally inaugurated the gold plated entrance by cutting the ribbon at a programme held here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajappa congratulated the proprietors of the firm for coming forward to beautify the temple.

Referring to the commitment made by the firm that 30 kg of rice a day would be delivered daily for the ‘Annadanam’ programme, the Minister wanted the devotees and philanthropists to come forward and participate in the development of the temple.
