Officials have identified 260 educational institutions to provide accommodation to the government employees to be deputed to the city on ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ duty. Sub-Collector V. Vijaya Ramaraju said on Monday that over 30,000 employees from various departments would be deputed to the city, for whom temporary accommodation would be provided in the educational institutions, lodges and function halls.

He said lodge owners were asked to allocate rooms at reasonable rents to the employees on duty. “Basic infrastructure will be provided in schools, which are earmarked for the accommodation purpose,” he said.
