Four people died while two more were severely injured in an accident near Sanjeevapalli village of Nallacheruvu mandal in Anantapur district on Sunday.

A van returning from Madanapalle town in Chittor district after delivering newspapers loaded in Anantapur was quite literally run over by a truck crushing almost the entire van to the ground, killing three people on the spot and injuring three others severely. The deceased have been identified as Ramachandra, Rajasekhar, Adinarayana Reddy and Harshavardhan, including the drivers of both the vehicles, besides two other passengers of the van who were guava traders.
