Fear of wild animals grips tribal hamlet

Suspected movement of a lion and tigers has caused a panic in the tribal hamlet of Satuthanda, near Dornala in Prakasam district.

Upon receiving information, a team of forest officials led by Sub-divisional Forest Officer Hima Sailaja rushed to the village and examined the area, but no pug-marks was found.

“We have allayed the fears of the resoidents of tribal hamlet by explaining that there is no scope for wild animals straying into their habitations,” Divisional Forest Officer D.Jayachandra Reddy said.
