With a view to developing e-content for postgraduate students of Sanskrit, an ‘e-PG Pathasala’ in Vyakarana Sastra has been launched at Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP). Vice-Chancellor Hare Krishna Satapathy inaugurated the facility here on Saturday.

The UGC has sanctioned Rs. 1.12 crore for the project, which involves writing e-content from Vyakarana Sastra (16 papers, of which 40 modules each of one hour duration). While Prof. S. Satyanarayana Murthy is the principal investigator, head of the department of Vyakarana (RSVP) R.L.N. Sastry and Veda Vedangas dean J. Ramakrishna will be joint investigators. They will hold deliberations with eminent Vyakarana pundits across the country on various aspects of preparation of e-content for the e-PG Pathasala.

The Pathasala will be monitored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology.
