‘Emulate ideals of Vivekananda’

The closing ceremony of the annual ‘Subhapradam’ of the TTD and Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad was conducted at Gosala, Kankipadu and Delhi Public School, Nidamanuru, in the city on Tuesday. Swami Sevyananda from Ramakrishna Math was chief guest. The programme comprised discourses and lectures on Indian culture. There were special sessions on yoga and communication skills. Addressing students, Swami Sevyananda said Swami Vivekananda had always set a target and strived hard to achieve it.

He wanted students to emulate Swamiji’s principles in their life.

In all, 342 girls and 364 boys from various high schools in the district attended the programme, which was conducted from May 12 to 19, said N. Shivaji, youth coordinator of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad.
