The AP EAMCET-2019 went off peacefully on the first day on Saturday.
Of a total of 27,367 candidates, 25,737 (94.4%) appeared for the exam.

At GMRIT exam centre in Rajampet, the exam was delayed by 30 minutes and at VITAM, Visakhapatnam, it was delayed by 17 minutes. In both the centres, the exam time was extended to make up for the lost time, said AP EAMCET convener Ch. Saibabu.
