Minister Adinarayana Reddy has observed that the dissidence factor in all Assembly constituencies in Kadapa district is slowly fizzling out and the cadres remained united to defeat the YSR Congress Party.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, the Minister said that there was no disappointment among the people against the TDP government and they were all happy with the welfare schemes introduced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

“Those who could not get the party ticket in Kamalapuram, Rayachoti, Proddatur and Badvel have understood the situation, and we spoke to them and appeased their feelings. They promised to work for the party,” Mr. Reddy said.

“YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy should answer the people about the criminal cases against him. His silence on Special Category Status is also raising doubts,” he said.

Mr. Reddy said that Mr. Naidu would be conducting election meetings in Kadapa district on Sunday. After arriving at Kadapa airport, Mr. Naidu would proceed to Badvel and Rayachoti in helicopter, he said.

Meanwhile, former MLA Veera Siva Reddy, speaking to the media here, said that he had appealed to his supporters to extensively campaign for the TDP candidates. He said that Mr. Naidu spoke to him during his last visit to Kadapa, saying that he would be given an MLC opportunity.
