MLC Y.V.B. Rajendra Prasad said on Saturday that the Election Commission of India (ECI) ignored the complaints made by the TDP candidate in Chandragiri constituency, P. Nani, but took prompt action when YSRCP’s Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy protested against alleged excesses by the TDP activists.
This was proof of the discrimination showed by the ECI between the TDP and the YSRCP, and alleged that it was acting at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the media here, Mr. Prasad said Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao made Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy shift to Amaravati from Lotus Pond in Hyderabad, having sensed the electoral debacle the YSRCP president was staring at.
‘TDP will retain power’
Mr. Prasad predicted that Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would be the Leader of the Opposition for five years, as the TDP was poised to retain power, notwithstanding the conspiracy hatched by the YSR Congress Party, the BJP and the TRS.
