Naidu orders deployment of helicopters to search 50 fishermen

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed different authorities to deploy two ONGC helicopters, a Reliance company helicopter and two ships belonging to the Coast Guard to trace and rescue 50 fishermen whose whereabouts are not known since June 16.

The fishermen hailing from East Godavari have been missing after they went into sea on June 16. Mr. Naidu, who held a review meeting on the issue asked the families of the fishermen not get worried, according to official sources.
