The CPI (M) will fight against the government’s anti-people policies and strive for all-round development of the district, Tammineni Suryanarayana, the newly elected the party district secretary said.
At a media conference on Friday, Mr. Suryanarayana said that the two-day district-level convention that ended on Thursday evening, had adopted 12 resolutions, including comprehensive development of the district, completion of pending irrigation projects, reopening of locked out industries, support to bankers’ strike, implementation of 1/70 Act and check on crime against women.
