Comprehensive family survey to begin on November 20

Eligible beneficiaries for welfare schemes will be identified: Collector

A comprehensive family survey covering all households in the district will be taken up from November 20 to identify eligible beneficiaries, District Collector I. Samuel Ananda Kumar said here on Monday.

“We are undertaking a survey to identify all eligible beneficiaries of YSR Arogyasri, YSR Pension Kanuka, zero interest scheme, Jagananna Vasati Deevena, YSR Kapu Nestam, YSR Netanna Nestam etc besides monthly emoluments to imams, pastors, and archakas. The survey will be undertaken by village/ward volunteers,’’ Mr. Samuel said on the sidelines of the weekly grievance programme, Spandana.

The survey will be undertaken for a month during November 20 to December 20, followed by distribution of digital cards. The data would be entered into the portal on December 1, followed by reverification process and on December 9, the eligible families/individuals list would be displayed at the village/ward secretariats. Digital cards would be issued to all beneficiaries, he said.

Later, the Collector held a workshop with all Mandal Development Officers, Tehsildars, and Municipal Commissioners at the SR Sankaran Conference Hall.

Sand reaches

Replying to a query from a reporter, the Collector said that all 24 sand reaches have fully become operational and every day, a release would give information on the availability of sand.
