Collector: Why poor response to e-office?

Responding to poor response to e-office system, Krishna District Collector Babu A. on Wednesday sought an explanation from the District Rural Development Authority.

Accompanied by Joint Collector G. Chandrudu, Mr. Babu has found violations of rules in maintenance of records pertaining to daily attendance and leaves by the staff during his sudden inspection.

He also inspected the office of the District Supply Officer. “Nearly 16 lakh pages related to various current office files and documents have been scanned for digital archive as a part of the e-office system,” Mr. Babu during his inspection of the two offices in Machilipatnam.
