Collector to flag off World Heart Day Rally tomorrow

Vizianagaram Collector M. Hari Jawaharlal will flag off a rally to create awareness among the heart diseases and immediate steps to be taken to save precious lives of patients on September 29, according to Tirumala Hospitals Managing Director Tirumala Prasad. He said that the rally which would be organised in connection with World Heart Day would start at Fort Junction and continue till Vizianagaram RTC complex on Sunday morning. Free health check-up would be conducted in hospital premises for the persons aged above 40 years. Dr.Tirumala Prasad said that the free medical camp was planned since many youngsters were victims of the heart diseases. He said many heart problems could be cured if they were identified at initial stage.
