The State government has been conducting job melas once in every two to three months and has been providing employment opportunities to the unemployed persons, District Collector S. Satyanarayana said after inaugurating the employment office near the rythu bazar in C. Camp in Kurnool here on Friday.
The employment office which functioned in the RDO office near Konda Reddy fort shifted to the new premises, the Collector said.
Deputy Director of Employment Hanuma Naik, District Employment Officer Madhu Bhushana Rao, Deputy Employment Officer Manohar, Vocational Guidance Officer Somasiva Reddy and others were present.
