Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials to integrate all the departments with e-Pragati by this year-end and accord priority to 14 departments to improve service delivery and, thereby, people’s satisfaction.

For better monitoring of the administration, the Collectors’ conference would, henceforth, be held every month, Mr. Naidu said.

Addressing a review meeting on e-Pragati at Praja Vedika on Saturday, Mr. Naidu said the Health Department was one that needed to be brought onto the platform in view of its importance for achieving better outcome in healthcare.

Officials told Mr. Naidu that digitalisation and its integration with e-Pragati were in advanced stages. The Education Department would be rendering 67 types of services through the platform by October 18, they said.

Mr. Naidu said information pertaining to rainfall, water resources and climate being gathered on a real-time basis evoked wide interest during his interactions in the U.S. He said technology played a crucial role in achieving sustainable development goals and the State government was far ahead of others in doing that.

The government had set for itself a tough, but not impossible target to achieve the goals by 2022, and asserted that doing it without technological advancements was an uphill task. Mr. Naidu enquired about the status of the A.P. Content Corporation, cyber security measures, and A.P. Drones Corporation. CCLA A.C. Punetha, IT adviser J. Satyanarayana and Secretary K. Vijayanand, and e-Pragati CEO N. Balasubrahmanyam were present.
