City cop bags six medals in world police games

Head constable M. Tulasi Chaitanya has once again brought laurels to the city and State police by bagging several medals at the 2019 World Police and Fire Games organised at Chengudu city of China from August 8 and 18.

Mr. Chaitanya bagged one gold, two silver and three bronze medals in various events.

He won a gold in the Triathlon team event and silver medals in 4x50 freestyle relay and 100 back stroke. In 1500 freestyle, 50 backstroke and 4x50 freestyle relay he won bronze medals.

Commissioner of Police Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao on Monday congratulated Mr. Chaitanya on his achievements and appreciated his family for supporting him.
