The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has moved a City Civil Court here a week back seeking orders to attach the properties of Jagati Publications, Indira Television and Janani Infrastructure, the companies owned by YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, who is facing the disproportionate assets case.

Along with the plea to attach Mr. Jagan’s companies, the CBI had also urged the court to permit it to attach the properties of Koneru Rajendra Prasad, chairman of Trimex Group, and N. Sunil Reddy, a relative of Mr. Jagan, both accused in the Emaar Properties case.

The CBI had first moved the court in May after getting the State's nod with the request for issuance of orders to attach the properties in the two cases, but the court had returned the petitions pointing out mistakes including lack of details about properties sought to be attached by the investigating agency.
