June 09, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:51 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Andhra Pradesh Cabinet will meet here on Tuesday to deliberate upon the recent developments and likely to condemn the “tapping” of phones by the TRS Government and also adopt a resolution urging the Centre to vest Governor, E S L Narasimhan with powers on law and order in Hyderabad, the common capital of Telangana and AP. A senior Minister told The Hindu that no agenda has been fixed but the recent developments would be discussed.

“We have kept all options open and we are going to explore every option”, Advisor (Communications) to AP Government, Parakala Prabhakar told The Hindu .

He said it was intolerable that Telangana government targeted AP Government and its Chief Minister. Pointing out that both the governments were co-habiting in the common capital as declared by the AP Reorganisation Act, he said “we are not subordinate to Telangana Government”. Dr. Prabhakar said the Governor should be vested with the powers for maintenance of law and order, protection of properties and vital installations in the common capital.
