Graduate held for morphing women’s pics

Cyber Crime Police on Saturday arrested a B.Tech graduate on charges of allegedly morphing photographs of women with obscene pictures and uploading them on Facebook through fake accounts.

The accused was identified as V. Anudeep (24), a resident of Akkayyapalem area under IV Town Police Station limits in Visakhapatnam.

According to Cyber Crime Inspector V. Gopinath, Anudeep collected photographs of two women who were residents of the same apartment complex that he lived in at Akkayyapalem. The accused reportedly created fake accounts on Facebook using their names and posted their morphed photographs. The youngster also used to post vulgar messages on the profiles, police said.

Based on a complaint filed by the victims, police arrested Anudeep on Saturday.
