A hassle-free ride eludes motorists one way or the other. For, most of the time the city roads are in a bad shape.

What if the road is good and a nasty patch hits you in the eye with hardly any room for manoeuvring?

When one sets to turn into the VIP Road from the BRTS Road, one immediately bumps into a culvert that has not been properly restored. A slab of the culvert juts onto the road proper, leaving hardly any space for someone who takes a turn.

It is difficult for anyone to check and swing right to avoid the badly done culvert.

On the other hand, if he slams the brakes, those behind will ram into him.

While roads are being renewed or repaired, the bad patches should be factored in.

Otherwise, it pours cold water on good work.
