Prakasam Principal District Judge K.V. Vijaykumar on Wednesday exhorted the students to inculcate sportive spirit to be successful in life.

Giving a pep talk to the students who took part in a gruelling summer coaching camp at the sprawling ABM College Grounds here, he said there could be no place for revenge. One should play fair irrespective of the result in a game and also in life, he added.

The judge, himself a football player in his college days, fascinated the students by narrating the success story of the popular soccer player Michael Bradley from the USA who won money and fame through persistent practice.

Much to the delight of the students, the Judge kicked the football in style. The camp was organised by the Clough Football Academy, Cloughpet Christian Youth Association and the Nehru Yuva Kendra for the 18th year in succession, said Chief coach K. David Raju. National players including Roger Benny, T. Edison, Y. Shaleem, K. Rupaz David, T. Rohit and T. Pradeep honed the skills of 180 budding players who were given certificates on conclusion of the camp.
