Members of the Laughing Club, Guntur celebrated the World Laughter Day at the NTR Municipal Stadium. They took out a procession on the Lakshmipuram Main Road carrying placards, banners and flags. Deputy Commissioner, GMC, M. Yesudas and TDP general secretary Mannava Subba Rao were present.

Founder and secretary Sk. Lal Vazeer said that the World Laughter Day was celebrated on every first Sunday of May and the year 2015 marked the completion of 20 years of Laughter Yoga.

There were thousands of social laughter clubs, which have been helping people to be joyful, he said adding that laughter yoga was also being practised in schools, colleges, universities, senior citizen centres, organisations for physically mentally challenged, prisons and many more.

Club president M. Rama Rao and, members G. Nagesh Khanna, Dharma Kishore and G. Sandhya Rani were present.
