Ayyanna’ sbrother joins YSRCP

Chintakayala Sanyasi Patrudu, the brother of former TDP Minister Ayyanna Patrudu, joined the YSRCP in the presence of party president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the party central office here on Monday. He had served as chairman of the Narsipatnam Municipality and played a key role in the Narsipatnam constituency of Visakhapatnam district.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanyasi Patrudu said he would strive to strengthen the party in the district. He joined the YSRCP impressed by the welfare schemes being implemented by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr. Sanyasi Patrudu said.

Mr. Sanyasi Patrudu said that the YSRCP was giving 50 % reservations to SC, ST, BC and minorities in nominated posts.

Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V. Vijaya Sai Reddy said several leaders were keen on joining the YSRCP.

With reference to Jena Sena leader Pawan Kalyan’s ‘long march’, he described it as a ‘wrong march’. He said while everybody thought Mr. Pawan Kalyan would march, he made his followers walk and travelled on the top of a vehicle.
