Campaign on ‘Mission Indradhanush’

An awareness campaign on ‘Mission Indradhanush’ was flagged-off by Additional Joint Collector D. Markandeyulu here on Tuesday. East Godavari is one among the 201 districts in the country, in which the programme was being launched to administer all vaccines to the pregnant and children. While flagging-off the rally, Mr. Markandeyulu said that children below two years of age would be covered under the vaccination programme that would be held for one week every month. District Medical and Health Officer M. Savitramma, additional DMHO M. Pavan Kumar and other officials were present.
