The three-day ‘Kakinada Beach Festival’ at NTR Beach concluded here on Monday evening. Thousands of people from Kakinda and surrounding places visited the beach on the third day too. The entertainment programmes that began in the morning, continued till late in the evening. Television artistes and playback singers from Hyderabad enthralled the audience with their song and dance.
Home Minister N. China Rajappa, who was the chief guest of the valedictory, said that the three-day festival was conducted with a sum of Rs. 55 lakh. The government departments and the corporate groups extended the financial support for the programme, he said.
Kakinada MP Thota Narasimham and others were present.
