APPSC reschedules examinations

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has rescheduled written examination for certain posts due to administrative reasons.

The exam date for Group-I services (screening test) which was earlier notified on March 10 is now revised to March 31.

There is no change in the date of the screening test for Assistant Executive Engineers in various engineering service (February 17) but the Mains have been pushed back from April 1 to April 29 and from April 2 to April 30.

Screening test for the post of Forest Range Officers in A.P Forest service has been shifted from February 24 to March 10 while the Mains have been rescheduled from April 28 to May 14, April 29 to May 15 and April 30 to May 16.

Exams for the posts of Assistant Commissioner of Endowments in AP Charitable and Hindu religious institutions and Endowments services has been rescheduled from April 3 to May 9 and from April 4 to May 10.

The Commission has also withdrawn its notification issued on December 13 last year for the post of Horticulture Officer in view of amendment to the educational qualification of the said post.

Fee to be refunded

In a statement issued on Friday, it said the fee paid by the candidates would be refunded soon.
