Appalayagunta Brahmotsavams, the much awaited annual religious fête of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple, near Appalayagunta, is all set to begin from May 30.

Reviewing the arrangements with the Heads of various departments here on Wednesday, TTD Joint Executive Officer (Tirupati) Pola Bhaskar instructed the engineering officials to set up permanent structures for managing queue lines and increase the height of pandals to allow the movement of celestial vehicles.

He also directed the vigilance officials to ensure tight security arrangements during religious events such as Dhwajarohanam, Kalyanotsavam, Garuda Seva, Rathotsavam and Chakrasnanam, along with using the services of Scouts & Guides and Srivari Sevakulu for pilgrim crowd management. Mr. Bhaskar also urged the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) wing to come up with attractive cultural programmes.
