A 24-member team of officials from Andhra Pradesh left for Singapore to attend a six-day training programme relating to the building of new capital city at the Centre for Liveable Cities, Singapore.
The team includes Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration A.Giridhar, Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Commissioner Srikanth and 12 others from CRDA, five from Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Application Centre.
The remaining officials belong to police and other departments.
Training
The team would undergo training on urban planning and the best practices to be adopted by urban development authorities during the construction of the capital.
