Even as an anti-KCR song that went viral online was taken off some websites, another song with near similar content has become a smashing hit on social media.
Recently, the video of a song criticising the rule of K. Chandrashekhar Rao was shared by thousands within a day of being posted online. The video had no arresting visuals but the lyrics is all about unfulfilled promises made by the Telangana Chief Minister.
A youngster claiming as Renjarla Rajesh renders the song in the video. While the main theme of the song centred around “KCR cheating dalits by not making a dalit Telangana CM as promised by him before elections, the signer ridicules Mr. Rao for making Government a family affair.
Some news websites wrote small articles and posted the video song which received good response with scores of netizens sharing and circulating it on different social media platforms.
Surprisingly, the video link of the song posted online was taken off within two to three days by a considerable number of websites.
While KCR’s critics and opponents described removal of the song’s video link as an attempt to control the damage caused by the massive response to the song, Mr. Rao’s supporters and TRS leaders maintained it as baseless charge.
Interestingly as Rajesh’s song appealing to dalits and people to keep a watch on KCR’s Government actions slowly began disappearing from websites, another video song with more stringent criticism emerged.
Now this is being circulated by scores of people through WhatsApp and Facebook.
