Another youth in custody for FB post against CM

The Kuppam circle police on Saturday evening took another youth of V. Kota mandal headquarters into custody on charge of posting objectionable content against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Facebook.

The police observed that three more youth were actively involved in the social media targeting not only leaders of political parties

but also officials and college students.

Circle Inspector (Kuppam) M. Rajasekhar said that local leaders of the Telugu Desam Party in V. Kota lodged a complaint against a youth of Motlapalle village of the mandal alleging that the posted objectionable social media posts against the Chief Minister. “We have identified the youth and steps would be taken for his arrest if necessary. We have already warned him,” he said.

The official said that the youth (29) would keep shuttling between Bengaluru and V. Kota doing odd jobs. “He has used some other’s Facebook account, and posted the content on it.”

The Kuppam police on August 22 arrested a youth from Kuppam mandal for obscene posts in the social media targeting the Chief Minister.
