Panchamukha Anjaneya Swamy Trust Board is gearing up to conduct AyushHomam, Maha Mrutyunjaya Homam , and Sudarshana Homam on a grand scale from June 29 to July 1.
Giving details of celebrations at a press conference on the temple premises on Tuesday, the board member E.R. Somayajulu said that the celebrations would begin with Sri Ganapati puja, PunyahaVachanam , and MantapaAaradhana followed by Ayush Homam on Monday and in the evening Vishnu Sahasranama Paarayanam, and Bhakti Sangeetam would be conducted. On the following day, the celebrations begin from 7 a.m. with Mantapa Archana and Gopuja followed by Maha Mrutyunjaya Homam and Manya Sukta Paarayanam and in the evening session students of Sri Vaishnavi Kalakshetram would perform a ballet on Sri Hanuman Chalisa. On July 1, under ‘Sathamanam Bhavati’ programme Sastiyabdhipoorti of 108 couples and Sudarshana Homam would be conducted followed by Maha Poornahuti, Chaturveda Paarayanam, Veda Aasirvachanam and distribution of prasadam to devotees. He appealed to devotees in the town and neighbourhoods to participate in the celebrations. Members G.S. Gupta, D.S.P. Lingam, Kondababu, L.K. Jain and others were present.
