Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan on Sunday accepted the resignations of all 24 Ministers tendered a few days ago to facilitate a major overhaul of the Cabinet. A gazette notification to that effect is likely to be issued later in the day.

Meanwhile, the exercise of revamping the Cabinet has come to an end after at least three days of intense parleys held by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy with government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and some other close confidantes to strike the right balance among the various aspirants on the basis of regional and caste factors.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy said that the list of members of the reorganised Cabinet would be submitted to the Governor by 7 p.m., seeking his assent. The swearing in of the new Cabinet will be organised at 11.31 a.m. on April 11.
