Amit Shah urged to solve water problem


The State unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has represented to the party’s national president Amit Shah to look into the water woes of Rayalaseema region.

The party’s State OBC Morcha president Jally Madhusudhan, in a representation submitted to him on Wednesday, asked him to get 200 TMC of Godavari water to the region. He also mentioned that the people of the region continued to feel isolated after bifurcation, with doubts lingering in their minds on looming backwardness. He requested Mr. Shah to positively look into the demand for a special package for the region.
