ADB Chief Economist visits Sri City

As a part of their study on the Vizag–Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC), Asian Development Bank (ADB) Chief Economist and Director-General of Economic Research Dr. Shang-Jin Wei, accompanied by a team of senior officials, visited the integrated business township - Sri City, here on Thursday.

The study is one of the key elements of the envisaged East Coast Economic Corridor, India’s first coastal corridor.

After being briefed on the infrastruture by the Sri City officials, Dr. Wei had an interactive session with senior executives of industrial units of Sri City and sought their suggestions on the industrial townships and other related issues.
