Aayush Hospital turns three

The 200-bedded Aayush hospital has turned three on Saturday. Aayush Hospitals group managing committee chairman Y.Ramesh Babu said that the hospital was established with 25 full time specialities and state of the art equipment. He said the Andhra Pradesh Jeevandhan Trust recognised the hospital as an organ transplantation centre last year, allowing the transplantation of organs from brain dead persons. Since then the hospital was instrumental in the transplantation of kidneys to four patients, liver to three patients and the restoration of sight to six persons, Dr Ramesh Babu said.
