Palle inaugurates its Centre of Excellence in Vijayawada

Zoom Technologies (India) Private Limited (ZTIPL), a network and security solutions provider, opened its Centres of Excellence in Cyber Security and Virtualisation and Cloud Computing at Patamatalanka here. The facility was inaugurated by Minister for Information Technology Palle Raghunadha Reddy.

Certification courses

Addressing the media, CEO of ZTIPL M.H. Noble said the Vijayawada centre would offer certification courses to equip security professionals with skills required to protect data and networks from malicious intruders.

The company is prepared to lend its expertise for protecting its cyber and information assets and curbing cyber crime.

Mr. Noble said the foray into Vijayawada came with the partnership of US-Council, a network security organisation based in North America, which made its mark in fighting cyber crimes, and offers consultancy services in protecting critical infrastructure around the world through its partner network. Besides training, the Centre of Excellence would provide services like security training, threat intelligence, machine-readable threat intelligence, Botnet tracking, intelligence reporting; tailored threat reporting, penetration testing, ATM/PoS security assessment, and telecommunication networks’ security assessment.

Cutting-edge tech

ZTIPL vice-president Q.A. Tapia said the company had been at the forefront of introducing cutting-edge technology in India for the last two decades with its list of clients including the laboratories of the Ministry of Defence, ISRO, Atomic Energy Department, Indian Railways, Hyderabad Central University, and a host of banks, hospitals and financial institutions.

ZTIPL general manager Siva was present.
