Sadhguru Sri Jaggi Vasudev, Founder of the Isha Foundation, has announced to take up the massive project of upgrading 460 government schools across the State, by incorporating better teaching methods and usage of English language.

Speaking to The Hindu, on sidelines of his spiritual discourse on ‘Existence and glimpse of what lies beyond’ at Sri Vidyanikethan International School, here on Monday, he said that the Isha Foundation would also take up the development of Puttamraju Kandriga in Nellore district, which was adopted by former cricketer and MP Sachin Tendulkar.

While the state government has requested the Isha Foundation to start a leadership academy in the capital city of Amaravati, Sadhguru said that the foundation was considering setting up such centres in Tirupati and Visakhapatnam.

In his address, he exhorted youth to consider spiritual process as a part of their life. “If you realise this fact at a young age, your ability to live is greatly enhanced,” he added.
