Two inter-State thieves arrested

Two inter-State offenders were arrested near Malliveedu railway station in L. Kota mandal on Thursday and recovered four-and-half of tolas of gold ornaments valued at Rs.1.20 lakh from them. On information to Central Crime Station here, L. Kota Sub-Inspector A. Naresh and his team arrested the two offenders, Dhonpati Harijan (50) and Bindu Harijan (25) of Jeypore in Koraput district of Odisha, who were involved in several thefts under the limits of L. Kota, S. Kota, and Salur police stations, said DSP (CCS) A.S. Chakravarthy in a press release on Thursday. They were remanded to custody.
