In yet another breakthrough, Chittoor task force police on Wednesday nabbed three red sanders smugglers and seized seven logs and an SUV, all worth over Rs 10 lakh, near Chowdepalle, 60 km from here. ASP (Operations) V. Ratna and Chittoor II-town Circle Inspector M. Rajasekhar showed the trio along with the seized goods at a press conference here.
G. Sivaprasad Naidu alias Gutta Babu (32) of Appayyagaripalle of Sundupalle mandal of Kadapa district, Gundluru Siva Sankar Reddy (20) from Vankireddigari Palle village of Yerravaripalem mandal of Chittoor district, and Gundluru Chandrasekhar Reddy (32) of the same village were arrested.
