Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) management has appealed to the corporate firms to join hands with it by participating in its services under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

The TTD’s six-member Investment Committee, headed by its Executive Officer D. Sambasiva Rao, met on Wednesday to review the various investments made by the temple management in various banks.

While expressing satisfaction over the highest rates at which the investments were made in banks, the panel also reviewed the gold deposits made by the TTD.

It was also advised to immediately explore the investments with the banks for a period of one year or three years, which quotes the highest rate of interest for the gold, which is readily available for investment.

Former Vigilance Commissioner Ranjana Kumar, former Deputy Governor of RBI Vepa Kamesam, IDBI Bank former Director K. Narasimha Murthy and TTD Additional Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer O. Balaji took part.
