TDP nominates former minister, senior MLA for all -party meet

The Telugu Desam Party on Monday nominated former minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and senior MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy as its representatives for Tuesday’s all-party meeting in New Delhi on the Telangana issue.

Mr. Yanamala, a member of the TDP politburo, will represent the coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions while Mr. Revuri will be the Telangana voice.

TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu chose these two leaders after hectic deliberations with his party colleagues from different regions of the state here on Monday.

The TDP politburo is also meeting now to firm up its strategy for the all-party meeting, convened by Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram to deliberate the mechanism and lay down a road map for consultations on the Telangana state.
