VIJAYAWADA: Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu on Wednesday warned YSR Congress MLA Roja against making “baseless” remarks against the TDP leadership.

Addressing a press conference at the party office, the Minister took a dig at YSRC president Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy and said: “People who are working under a leader who had tried to make political gains out of his father’s death have no moral right to pass judgment on the TDP leadership.”

Referring to Ms. Roja’s statement that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was afraid of allotting a ministerial post to his son N. Lokesh, the Minister said it was TDP’s internal issue and the YSRC leaders had no right to comment on it.

The Minister came down heavily on her for comparing the political developments in Uttar Pradesh with Andhra Pradesh and said it only reflected her lack of political knowledge.
