Rampachodavaram, Chinturu to have dialysis units

Kamineni Srinivas lays stone for early intervention centre

Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas has announced that two dialysis units have been sanctioned for Rampachodavaram and Chinturu.

The Minister was laying the foundation stone for the district early intervention centre to be built at a cost of Rs. 1.06 crore here.

Later, he also inaugurated a blood bank set up by the ONGC with Rs. 60 lakh under the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

Addressing the public meeting, Mr. Srinivas said emergency treatment would be available through early intervention centre.

He said facilities would be improved at the Rampachodavaram area hospital in a phased manner.

The Minister said steps would be taken to allocate required funds to upgrade Rampachodavaram area hospital into 100-bed hospital. He said the difference in salaries between doctors who were appointed in the past and the newly appointed ones would be sorted out. The Minister maintained that medical services would be enhanced in the Agency areas with mobile medical units.
