All-India Congress Committee general secretary Rahul Gandhi has started interactions with young party legislators, first timers in particular, to understand the political situation in the State. Mr. Gandhi invited about a dozen young MLAs to New Delhi in the past few days to obtain first hand information about the party's strengths and weaknesses . Following his interaction with six MLAs in the past two days, Mr. Gandhi held further consultations with some more MLAs on Monday. The invitation to young MLAs was said to be part of exercise to strengthen the Youth Congress by seeking their views on the steps to be initiated in that direction.
