Only TDP chief can develop Seemandhra: MLA

April 04, 2014 08:07 pm | Updated November 08, 2016 01:28 am IST - ONGOLE:

S.N.Padu MLA B.N.Vijaykumar on Friday said the successor State of Andhra Pradesh very much needed the administrative acumen of Telugu Desam Party president N.Chandrababu Naidu for speedy development. Mr Vijaykumar quit the Congress to join the TDP.

“I firmly believe that only Mr Naidu, who has earned a good name as an administrator can deliver the goods,” he told reporters after accepting an yellow shawl from senior TDP leader Karnam Balaramakrishnamurthy.

The TDP leader said the ruling Congress had went ahead with division of the State despite vehement protest by parliamentarians and legislators from Seemandhra cutting across party lines.

Party S.N.Padu Assembly constituency in-charge M.Sridhar said “now it is time for the party cadre to work in tandem to bring the party to power.”
