New vessel to reachKrishnapatnamin three days

NELLORE: Officials of the Indian Coast Guard Station at Krishnapatnam in the district have said that the new patrol vessel, ‘Rani Gaidinlieu’, will be reaching the Krishnapatnam port in three days.

The patrol vessel was recently commissioned into the coast guard to meet the requirements of 24-hour patrol and also to ensure safety and security of the Indian fishermen venturing into the sea. The ship will be travelling at a speed of 34 nautical miles per hour.
