Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy’s wife passes away

Neelam Nagaratnamma, wife of the former President of India, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, breathed her last around 10 p.m. on Monday night at her Tarimela Vihar residence here. She was 87 and had been ailing for quite some time. She was the sister of veteran communist leader Tarimela Nagireddy.

She leaves behind her only son Sudheer Reddy, who is a doctor, and three daughters, Nirmala, Neeraja and Amaravathi. Her last rites will be performed at her native village, Illuru, on Tuesday afternoon. District Collector B.Janardhan Reddy and Superintendent of Police M.K.Singh paid homage to her.
