A Naval Operational Display will be organised at the Punnami Ghat in Vijayawada between February 2 and 4.
As many as 300 sailors belonging to the Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam, will participate in the display that would be open for the public.
Krishna District Collector Babu A. on Monday announced that the district authorities were hosting the event as a huge gathering of audience was expected.
“The display is a prestigious event and the first of its kind to be conducted in Vijayawada,” Mr. Babu said.
Beating Retreat an additional attraction
Beating Retreat is an additional attraction of the display to be conducted on February 4.
The Eastern Naval Command will also conduct an exhibition on career in the Navy.
The Collector has appealed to the youth to use the opportunity to know the career prospects in the Navy.
